Goldsmith: Home to Designer Asher Levine's First Women's Collection
In December 2012 the Goldsmith showroom located at Studio 350, 601 West 26th Street in New York City, played host to designer Asher Levine. Levine is an iconic fashion designer that explores a wide-range of different garments, fabrics and techniques to produce exceptional pieces of work. During December 2012, Levine exhibited his first ever women's collection at the Goldsmith showroom using many of the different mannequins.
His work, which mixes his vision of high craft with a steady stream of wit, has been featured in major publications such as: i-D, Numéro, Interview Magazine, L’Uomo Vogue, and Vogue Italia.

Levine is known for a recurring fascination with science-fiction shapes and techno-fabrics with a modern reworking of classic prints and textiles. He is a master of reimagining garments into unexpected works with delightfully surprising materials, constructions and silhouettes. Levine has created iconic custom garments for the likes of The Black Eyed Peas, Rita Ora, Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga.
